A smoother airport journey starts before you leave home. Whether you are travelling for work or heading away on holiday, arranging your Maidenhead to Heathrow transfer in advance gives you one less thing to organise on the day.
Velvet Drivers offers pre-booked chauffeur travel between Maidenhead and Heathrow Airport, with requests reviewed personally and journey arrangements confirmed before travel.
FROM YOUR DOOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE TERMINAL
Your airport transfer should fit your travel plans. When requesting a journey, provide your collection address, travel date, flight details, passenger numbers and luggage requirements.
These details help us assess the request and arrange a suitable vehicle, subject to availability. Let us know about large suitcases, pushchairs or other bulky items before your booking is confirmed.
We can review collection requests from:
- Home addresses in Maidenhead
- Hotels and guest accommodation
- Offices and business premises
Include the full address and any access instructions so that the collection point is clear.
PLANNING YOUR COLLECTION TIME
Choosing a collection time involves more than estimating the drive to Heathrow. Your airline’s recommended arrival time, departure terminal, expected road conditions and time needed for check-in all matter.
Morning traffic, busy holiday periods and roadworks can affect the journey. Allow a sensible buffer rather than planning around the shortest possible driving time.
When submitting your request, include:
- Your flight number and departure time
- Your departure terminal, if known
- Your preferred collection time
- The number of passengers and bags
- Any additional travel requirements
Check your airline’s guidance before agreeing your collection time.
AIRPORT TRAVEL FOR BUSINESS PASSENGERS
For business travellers, a pre-arranged transfer helps keep the day organised. Whether you are leaving from home, an office or a hotel, having your collection arrangements confirmed in advance makes it easier to plan around your flight.
If you are arranging transport for a colleague or visiting client, provide the passenger’s contact details alongside the booking contact. Include any separate outbound and return requirements.
Businesses with recurring travel needs can contact Velvet Drivers to discuss a corporate account.
HOLIDAYS, FAMILY TRAVEL AND LUGGAGE
A comfortable airport journey starts with choosing transport that suits everyone travelling.
Tell us the passenger count and luggage requirements when you submit your request. If travelling with children, include any child-seat requirements so that arrangements can be discussed before confirmation.
Please do not assume that extra luggage or special requests can be accommodated without prior agreement.
RETURN TRANSFERS FROM HEATHROW TO MAIDENHEAD
You can also request a return journey from Heathrow to Maidenhead.
For an airport collection, provide your arrival date, flight number, contact details and destination address. Collection timing and meeting instructions should be agreed as part of your confirmed arrangements.
If your flight details or travel plans change, contact Velvet Drivers so we can review the booking with you.
